Meet Our Team

As the founder of Lake Cumberland Properties in 1989, Kim opened this company with many years of real estate experience. Her commitment to offering a friendly, yet professional, real estate service company to this area is unmatched. Kim has been aggressive in the promotion of Lake Cumberland as well as Russell County. As Kim says, “the west end is the best end”, as she refers to the portion of Lake Cumberland that Russell County occupies. “After all,” she says, “we have the big water, the Wolf Creek Dam, the National Fish Hatchery, the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park and the four best marinas on the lake”. But Kim’s passion for the Lake Cumberland is equal to her commitment to the community she serves. Kim is very proud of her hometown and volunteers with many local organizations including the public school system. The rural setting and the relaxed lifestyle make for an irresistible combination.
Lake Cumberland Properties agents are all Realtors, subscribing to ethical and professional rules of the real estate business. Whatever your interest in this area of South Central Kentucky; Kim and her staff work hard to provide the most current tools to market your property. The listings are featured on a local Multiple Listing Service in addition to Realtor.com as well as a long list of other internet sites focused on real estate. (Zillow, Tulia, etc.) Wherever the buyer is coming from, Lake Cumberland Properties listings will be easily found. “We sell to the world,” Kim says, “and we make sure the world can find us”.
“Welcome home, welcome to Russell County and Lake Cumberland.”
Ann has been selling real estate in the Lake Cumberland area since 1996. Originally from Los Angeles, she moved to Kentucky with the horse business in 1985. With a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Photography, she used her skills to write extensively for, and to advertise the Horse Show world.
“Selling Real Estate,” she exclaims, “is much easier than training and selling horses! The reason? Being a Realtor provides you with a strong code of ethics to go by, while Kentucky Real Estate Law supplies you with comprehensive written contracts and disclosures, by which to perform.”
Like with the horses, Ann continues to sell what she truly loves: homes and land, with a particular affection for properties near the lake. With each potential customer, she recalls her own excitement when she moved down here herself in 1995; cultivating that same excitement with each sale. When she lists a property, she realizes that her clients are moving on to their next adventure, and she works tirelessly toward those clients’ goal.
“Every step toward buying a property here should be pure fun; with the reward being the many years of pleasure that living or vacationing here brings.” She adds that she has lived here longer than anywhere else in her life.
“Everyone has been so nice to me. I’ve met the greatest people in the world here. This is home.”
